So maybe I just have biostats on my mind because I’m studying for my board exams but.. as I opened my free GB today and got a daily box item, I thought to myself that it has been a long while since I got a GB item in my free box.
So I looked back to the recent weekend events, and did a little math. It’s been 10 weeks since I got an item in my free box (this past VIP I chased, but my free box was not an item). Since there’s 4 GB items & 8 possible boxes, there should be a 1/2 chance of getting an item. The chance of not getting a single item for 10 weeks is 0.00098.
I don’t know what odds they actually give us, but I think it’s literal trash that they make it so hard to get the GB items. The odds are screwy and not what they should be, considering Glu would still make a ton of money off people chasing GB items with better odds. At least with Kollections, the odds might still suck, but you’re guaranteed to get all the items eventually. Unless, of course, they decide not to offer the kollection to all their players. Then the odds of getting those items is 0 lol! In conclusion, Glu’s entire business model is reward a small portion of players and punish the rest. Then repeat. And I am not in the mood for it today lol.
The Amazon update should be out shortly, and that should fix their
situation, and Support and Kalinda are taking care of the Android issue

Good news: the event points meter is back! Now the bad news: no deducting points, no longer event time, and where may I ask is my promised 40 event points (not to mention the points I got from finishing OTHER gigs)?
are the people who finished the professional gig and didnt get the event points not going to be rewarded for it? I didnt get my points, so I didnt even open my free gb yet and I'm going to fall back because of the delay and I want to finish this even normally.

I didn't think the gb's were that exciting and I didn't care about this event that much but OMG earnables look too good on my doll I can't believe it 😂 I don't even care about the American flag colors now (no offense, I am not American) I am going to wear this all day every day 😂

I only wanted the basket. I told myself I’d let myself open up 1 or 2 extra boxes and if I didn’t get it I wouldn’t chase. I got the skirt in my free pick, then the k stars. I decided to open up one more since getting the k stars on a paid box is a wash, and got the basket!

@DebsAG Professional gigs include everything but parties and dates. So modeling, commercials, TV shows, reality shows, party appearances, etc. count. Currently there's a glitch going on for android users so that's probably why you didn't get any points. @kkh_kylie The fastest way to get Professional Event points and Weekday Throwback points is through reality TV gigs. You can do two 3 hour gigs at Bel Air with full energy. It'll give you more points than doing 8 hour gigs. And to answer your question, VIP hangouts and parties don't count as professional gigs.
I was lucky enough to check the forum first before starting any gig, but I hate to read that lots of players lost their effort and energy without rewards. 👏🏾COM👏🏾 PEN 👏🏾SA👏🏾TIONS👏🏾 And no, 10 flimsy energy bolts or some 5 drops of dye will not help the dolls who lost like 40~50 Event points, if not more.

Imagine my excitement when I got 5 red dye in my weekend gift box. This is horrible! I am not wasting stars to chase any of these items.
@eggsandbananas@KalindaKing if dye is going to be included in gift boxes, it really should be a greater amount, 5 dyes is not enough to dye an outfit from top to bottom. Also, maybe consider letting us choose which dye we want from the weekend gift boxes. Nothing worse than tons of dye that you don’t want.
