Idk why people are complaining about getting anxiety from it because it is something that doesn’t require their participation in but of course I can’t question their mental health. Personally, I have anxiety as well outside the game but I know when to stop. I mostly get fomo from missing things🤣
SYS doesn’t require participation but having the SYS icon on your screen convinces people to participate. The icon constantly shows the amount of votes you have. It also shows your current rank(if you are in 10th place or above.) If you are below 10th place you automatically know because your rank doesn’t appear on the icon.
Speaking from my experience, Having the SYS icon on the screen is one of the major issues. Trendsetters is the other issue, it can make you feel worthless because you didn’t place high enough.
Trendsetters can also become an extremely stressful situation depending on the person

My looks 3-7 apparently side slits & side parts are just going to be my thing this SYS lol.
Ended up picking this bun in my first bronze box. I’m happy because it’s cute and simple and would probably do well in future SYS but I noticed in the closet there’s a glitch. 😩😩 If your doll is holding a purse in their hand, when the doll “breathes” the bun breathes separately away from the head too lol. Hopefully someone fixes this lol it’s more noticeable in-game.
@datesaremyfave Sorry I won’t be as nice as she was. You say you have anxiety outside of this but you literally are giving anxious people a reason to feel worse. Now people are going to see what you said and not feel comfortable coming to the forum to find comfort. Everyone experiences mental health differently. “i know when to stop” clearly implies you don’t know what anxiety is because people with anxiety cant stop.
I have severe social anxiety & I was thinking the same thing. People with anxiety can’t stop because they are constantly worrying about all the “What if’s” going on in there head & the easiest way to confirm those “What if’s” is to continue playing SYS

This is so weird, I saw you in the voting booth and voted for the look with the sparkler twice and it was the popular pick in both pairings. To me, silver worked for a couple of looks and then I went back to flopping lol but at least it improved my average a little...

If Glu would group ticket buyers together, it would be more fun and I wouldn't get anxious or pissed off, as I'm sure most of you would agree. This is a game, we should feel at ease playing, but lately, it hasn't been that fun. 🤷🏻♀️

Looks 5-8 😏 it is improving and getting better numbers, currently hovering between 4-5th spot, since 3-4 ticket buyers emerged out of nowhere...so might need to fight for that TOP 5 spot 😅

In my opinion Glu should remove trendsetters on all SYS & increase the number of votes needed to get the last earnable.
If Glu increased the number of votes needed to unlock the last earnable people would still buy tickets & glu would still make money. Removing trendsetters would make SYS more enjoyable because we are not competing against each other
Also removing trendsetters would also mean Glu wouldn’t have to do as much work

And I I have a feeling that this coming weekend SYS will be even worse for me. At least if my SYS theory is correct. I'm suspecting that the remaining weekend SYSs in the update will follow the "sun" theme and the next one will be something Sunset themed and then a Starry night/dusk/midnight themed one.

So since I did the triple threat I got the second box this morning and the pallet was pretty good, though I think there is still room for improvement! I’m glad I got the kstars though that bun is super pretty! My scores are average for me - so glad to see dolls here getting into the fifties I have only got one 50 this entire sys. I would still be in first even without the triple threat tickets. I’m interested to see what the final boxes look like tomorrow

@whatisreality I think this is a very good and important point! Even when I decide to opt out of SYS or take it easy for a weekend (now a full week), that stress-inducing icon is still on the screen, and I wish we could hide it like the gig pop-ups on the left side of the display.
I see what you guys are saying about anxiety in this game...it’s good to try to eliminate hobbies that regularly exacerbate anxiety...but it is hard to take that step when it’s something that also sometimes makes you happy. 😕
