Aww, don't you just love Love & Romance? Well if you do, then get ready because our Dolls have a Dating Weekend!
Lets get the basics out of the way.

Dating Event - Collect Hearts from Dating!
Starts Friday, July 31st @ 5am Eastern
Ends Sunday, August 2nd @ 10pm Eastern
600 Hearts wins all the Earnables.

And, you can date anyone. It need not be your SO, if you want a few quick one hour dates, you can take out an NPC. Just remember to delete him when you're done with him, otherwise he'll call to break up and you'll lose fans.

Don't forget! The event starts at 5 a.m. tomorrow!

I always do because I get a boost of event points. But the thing I've noticed, if mine says 6 hours it takes me much longer to complete it than a normal 6 hour event.

Oh, how I’ve missed cheating on my in-game partner by going on 1 hour dates with random NPCs at the Oak and consuming more $650 vintage wine than the average person knows is healthy.

For me, it depends on the event. I usually don’t, unless it’s a VIP or a party event.
During dating events, 1-hour dates at the Oak cost 4-10 energy, depending on whether vintage wine is available or not. Each 1-hour date gives 5 event points (before any bonuses), so it’d cost 32-80 (usually around 40-50) energy to get 40 event points. However, if you accepted Simon’s 6-hour gig, you’d use 80+ energy to finish it, receiving the same amount of event points: 40.
During professional/reality events, 3-hour reality shows at Bel Air cost 18-19 energy and give 16 event points (before any bonuses). It’d take between 54-57 energy to receive 48 event points, while with Simon’s 6-hour gig, you’d use 80+ energy and receive 8 fewer points.
But of course, some people prefer doing Simon’s gig since it’s a nice break from repeating the same thing over and over depending on the event.

I'll be honest, I do the gig he calls with when it's a dating event. Saves cash and the bonus payout is nice. But, I always say Yes when he calls, then I usually end up not doing it, because energy wise it's usually more productive to do reality shows. But I do Simon's gig during dating events. I wait till I have all but the last item, that way my regular gig bonus is largest, then Simon adds 40 I think, so that's a nice chunk of event points, without spending more cash..

If you date strange NPCs for quick 1 hour dates, make sure you have a no contact scanner, to check their temps. I'm waiting for that as a handheld, and a mask as an accessory.

So funny story (not really😅) I started the game in Feb and only got one dating event so this will be my second! I remember not knowing what to do since I ran out of cash and I didn't get the pretty hair with stars (still sad about it lmao) if anyone has any tip other than the wine and Oak I will love them forever!
Also I just spun a collection and got 70k but I spent them😅
And as usual thank you Koko for the lovely thread🥰 can't wait for spoilers!!

@SaigeAnne I Hate to disagree, but if you don't hit the wine at oak, a one hour can be more than 10 energy. 4 net for a kiss, and the 9 for the special task is 13 right there, and it doesn't fill the hour. Maybe at lower levels, but I have dropped upwards of 17 for a 1 hour if the tasks don't line up. I know because that makes me mad and I spew in rapid fire all 7 words you can't say on radio

You get 40 + 25 event points tho for doing those gigs... but I never do them either lol

When I use NPCs, I date them up to 100, then delete them. I think you can safely go to 200 without him wanting a relationship, but since I dump them at 100pts, I can't say. (I always err on the safe side.)

😂😂😂 I refuse to do my final comeback (Love Guru) because then I’ll have an even smaller chance of getting my vintage wine 😅 I will admit that since you can also get the fine wine or whatever it’s called from the place in LAX, if I don’t get the wine within spending 5-6 energy, I’ll just let the timer run out. I’ve already maxed the achievement that requires you to complete consecutive perfect dates, so it doesn’t have negative effects.
