Hi yโall, Iโve been creeping the forums for awhile now and I just saw this thread about the new items available for diamonds so I wanted to share my opinion. I recently bought the most expensive pack of diamonds and I only have a bit left. I agree with other players that we should have more ways to earn diamonds or more diamond sales or reduce the prices. Honestly If we are getting items that are diamond exclusive purchases the handhelds shouldnโt lock during the SYS. If we are paying a premium for them then they should have a greater benefit in my opinion.ย

changing how you can customize your eyes. This will make it easier to change
your eye color and your eye shadow color. You will also be able to change some
eye shadow colors for fancy eye makeup in the glam category. This will probably
be easier to understand in the wardrobe and we hope you like it!
this is great news i hope some of the more dramatic glam looks i have will take to different eyeshadow colours nicely! now i wish if this goes well that it can be implemented to glam lips in a future update. there are sooooo many glam lips with gorgeous lip shapes and the upcoming ts lips that id wear every single day if they came in neutral colours ๐ฅบ
I hate the idea of new kloset items for diamonds and I donโt like the new spoilers except for the coconut and the matching swimsuit/dress. And I actually expect them to be available in the kloset for diamonds because weโre getting another beach SYS soon and this outfit will definitely ~help out the players ๐ย
Iโm disappointed and annoyed with this update already. We actually LOVED when with the update we were getting some stuff that helped us with SYS themes, like that dumbbell available for kash or playbill as a gift from Kalinda. And of course, since we enjoyed it so much Glu had to take it to another level and absolutely ruin it.ย
Very well said! The more I think about the new Diamond feature, the more I hate it. I understand that Glu is a business, but they really fail to find the balance between a thriving business and happy customers. I hope with this update we get the STARLET KOLLECTION FOR FREE AT LEAST.

the update, you'll see more items you can immediately buy from the wardrobe!
Some of these items will be on sale for diamonds and will help you prepare for
upcoming Show Your Style events. For example, there will be items for the Retro
Diner event like the soda. We know youโre always looking for guidance for how
to stay on theme and hopefully these items will help. You can get clothes, hair
and accessories for diamonds and the prices will be similar to what youโve seen
in Get This Look.
I don't feel like we're looking for guidance to stay on theme, exactly, it's more that being on theme often doesn't mean you actually get any more votes
i like that theyโre adding stuff to help with sys in the kloset but it kinda sucks that it costs diamonds especially since there arenโt ย improved ways to earn themย
To date the way they've given us on-theme accessories is through actually winning them as part of the event. Now they want us to pay extra to get what in the past we've gotten for free? This is wild.
The fact that I had high hopes for this update... ๐คก๐คก If there isn't an easier way for all players to win diamonds, I genuinely do not want it. Nothing can fix that or compensate for it.ย
I feel like this is a bit of a lesson in what to complain about within this game. There's only so much time, and so many things they can add or fix. I'm not going to claim to be super happy with the diamonds idea, because I'm not. (unless my first impression was correct, that being we have a discounted themed items available in the kloset that's normally in the booth, so we really aren't being screwed over since they are simply placing those items in the kloset where we have current access instead of having to chase after them in the booth.)ย ย I guess, even though I definitely agree that GLU should listen to our complaints/suggestions, sometimes it seems hard to pin down what exactly the issue is. KKH is still free and we still have access to items, just not all the items unless we either pay more $ then or be patient for the item to become available later.ย I am disappointed when I miss out on things sure but, I am playing mostly for free so it's understandable. I don't expect to get everything or better chances at it, because I don't pay for it. I mean, GLU is still catering to all its customers. Most thing's in theย world are tiered off having a base (free) and premium or more exclusive tier.ย That's not going to change. There's other suggestions in my opinion that could actually help the enjoyment of this game that are priority over some of the repeated complaints. Though, some valid suggestions have been made, it's usually drowned out over distaste over what clothes were added or something minor.ย Ways to earn diamonds, throwback boxes, fixed event/gift/kollection boxes (as in no energy tiles), and more diverse customization needs to be addressed more than anything.ย I hope I'm proved wrong, but I don't see them changing the SYS events for the better or what everyone wants. I think the biggest issue charging items for diamonds and kstars is that it is so hard to earn them in game especially older players who have max on all those achievements.ย
If businesses prizes are changed to 10-20kstars and a diamond for a completed task, maybe it would be easier on the players.ย
Also get our girl, Kalinda a new tablet or android so that she can upload higher resolutions pictures.ย
I love the coconut and the swimsuit. Maybe it's a good thing I don't like the rest so I can save for BF sale (or Kalinda didn't show us the best stuff). But I'm really looking forward to the custom eyeshadow even to glam eyes! It's something that every player wants, at least GLU implemented that suggestion (the power of constant suggestions). Also this feature gives me hope that someday non-detachable hair accessories we already have on some hairstyles will become detachable one day, someday soon ๐ฅบ?ย
I think Iโm not mad on the new way to spend diamonds ย But mad that we donโt earn much and they are expensive to purchase . The โ get this look โ items at the end are old items and they are limited so old players and people who went crazy on diamonds packages Eventually wonโt have much to purchase so I expected that specially we alreadyย had collections to buy with diamonds.ย
Between having items in wardrobe and collections I definitely prefer the wardrobe items because the collections are a waste to keep spinning till you get what you want and itโs very unreasonable price.ย

Find another way for us to waste the very few that we have without giving us any way to earn more (or was that the eventual 1 a week we might get as a voting reward after spending hours and hours there?). How tone deaf do you have to be? Also, diamonds were made specifically to buy previously released items, NOT new ones. Why do you change your own rules?? This defeats the whole purpose of them! We already have 2 different currencies for the kloset, we donโt need a 3rd one. And finally, I keep losing in TS because Iโm always placed riiiight after people buying tickets. Now Iโm going to get less points on the earnable track too because Iโll have to compete with people buying diamonds and their special items. Fantastic. I am not excited AT ALL for this update.

I feel like iโm the last few updates glu has been giving us a lot of features that weโve wanted for a while (separate contour, clothes to help with sys in the kloset & changing previously locked eyeshadow colours) but wonโt address the most wanted changes like reduced tb points, cap on ts & giving everyone 20 videos. I understand that changing how trendsetters works is time consuming but giving everyone 20 daily videos & reading the points needed to reach the tb box is such an easy change but itโs still not been done. its so discouraging to have new features added that are just new ways for glu to make money instead of making the game more enjoyable for its players. I stopped spending real money on the game a few months ago when it was made clear that gluโs main focus is finding more ways to make us spend & i donโt plan on spending anymore until changes are made ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ

Also, for those wondering about the "green" coconut: itโs the same as the brown one, itโs just the outer shell. You need to break it off to access the small round one. In the handheld, itโs still a young one because itโs white inside. This is usually how itโs prepared to drink coconut water from the coconut itself. If you want the brown round coconut, you have to wait until theyโre a little older and break apart the outer shell (the white part is now like straw: see picture). You then have your "real" coconut, you pierce it and empty the water in a glass, then break it and scoop out the white flesh from the shell. Maybe thereโs different varieties and methods but thatโs how we do it back home. The brown round coconuts that you imagine are not what are seen directly in the trees!

Not excited at all. None of the spoiler outfits excite me, including the gown and both ponytails. Also, who came up with this kloset sys idea? I think it's just unnecessary. I only ever paid for a handheld once and that's the sparkler. Everything else has an equivalent in closet already. I feel like even the big spenders won't bother but who cares.ย

The chosen ones got 3 weeks of rewards and chances to win old SYS items while we got nothing except a build up of hope that we'd be getting it with the new update.
And to top it all off you're adding diamonds as a closet currency.
I'm absolutely sick of this god damn game and it's bullsh*t attempts to bleed my bank account dry.
This is not only unfair to people that class themselves as "free players" but it's a huge kick in the teeth to players that spend a lot of money month after month and get nothing back in return other than badly designed clothes spoilers that look like they've already been dyed
