These are four looks I have done so far that fetched more votes than I expected. I always come on here for tips and inspiration from all of you so I thought I would share mine if they can be of any help. Good luck to all of you!
I can’t really explain it properly but I just think this system sucks; I’m getting the best scores I’ve ever had yet I’m struggling to stay in the top five. I’m desperate for the dress and bag so my options are pretty much buy tickets or miss out. I feel like this set up means each level is going to get progressively harder to do well in ‘normally’ - if scores of 56 can’t stay in top 5, the ONLY option is buying your way in so it’s completely pay to play.
My other option is to do badly, skip tickets, miss the items and hope I level down. But that means that next time I have the same drama; I might go down enough levels to have a chill group but then if I do well I go up again and this starts over with the ticket buying competition.
I just can’t see a way of it being fun? I know I sound so salty and bitter but the point is to get good scores and I’m doing that and still not winning so clearly show your style is actually show your pile (of cash) which to me takes all the fun out of it.
Why bother submitting looks if after everything I’ll get a box with energy in? Why bother playing sys if my choices are miss out on new items or miss out on old items or more likely, miss out on everything unless I spend ££ a week on tickets?
The sad thing is that I was happy to buy triple threat now and again before because it made sense but now the risk is too high that I could buy tickets and submit extra looks and still miss out so why would i now?
Yeah I thought that it would be all the tb’s that level up too so in the last SYS I didn’t submit my last two tickets so I stayed in bronze 2 and I have such a chill group with really cute looks now. I didn’t really think it was that worth it either just for an extra KStar.
Controversial opinion maybe but in the old format since my scores were generally good it usually only took a ticket or two to get what I wanted, unless it was something massively popular like the Lana dress or pink ponytail, which I just let go. I have never spent more than two tickets to get a prize. I really hated it at first but I’ve gotten used to it and don’t mind and it seems like a ton of other people feel the same way. It sucks for free players so I try really hard to give everyone a fighting chance on my end but granted we all have different opinions of what that is. However what I am not for and can never respect is the excessive ticketbuying on day 1 that gives you the final earnable and the competition is totally wiped out for the other 25 players. It seems like as I level up I will be getting more and more of the excess and they’ll all be fighting eachother, which yes makes money for Glu but it will pretty much guarantee that I can never win a prize again, because I also probably won’t do poorly enough to level down. I don’t really know why I am posting this, just a rant but it’s been on my mind a lot lately when people post they like the new system.
I second that , i’ve been thinking of a way that’ll keep me in bronze levels so it’s easier and less competitive

@KalindaKing I hope when you come back well rested and happy you review the forum for the last five pages. It’s depressing as heck. Seriously this is probably the most downtrodden five pages I have ever seen 😂 I understand Glu wants to innovate and make more money but it’s the loyal longtime players who are at the biggest risk for walking away because we KNOW the game can be better than this. This new system isn’t fun at all, and we’re all stuck in a Sophie’s choice week by week- rank up and lose the next week, or rank down and have a chance. This isn’t a choice we should have to make in this game!! PLEASE, remove the style levels. This is just terrible.
So I came in 5th in the weekday SYS but my level didn’t go up (I guess there has been some problems with that) but I’m actually in a chill group and got to be first for a while!
Nope. After this weekend I’m done. I’ll come back for BF and buy a bunch in case I come back later and hopefully this dumpster fire has burned down. I’m in 11th place. Nobody asked for this.
Let's see if these "Totally Spies" inspo would work... btw the pink bikini I posted a while ago scores 50, which I am very glad. Plus my group is chill and no Tb. Meaning currently at first. Hope it lasts LOL.
My first decent score this sys. Not sure I’ll even make it to the last earnable with scores going up and down. The top 4 are all 300+. It will be nearly impossible to earn new items as the levels increase unless you spend money, but I’m sure that was the intent.
Hi guys! Can you please help me out? Ever since the SYS format changed, my scores have been super low! It's crazy because I have been playing since SYS first started and I have never received such low scores. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if I'm not understanding the theme correctly?

All five of my looks scored exactly 40. I'm not saying I'm amazing or anything but it feels so sus that each of them received the same score and so fast.
