The TS prizes are stunningggggg 😍😍 Personally the earnables don’t really speak to me, might start the event a day or two late and hope to get a more chill group 😅
Why do I feel like this is gonna turn into a theme where many people will change their dolls skintone/using POC hairstyles, considering that these theme is about black history month?
ehh not a fan of the earnable dress but i can’t wait to see the voting booth be all over the place 😂

I hope Kim’s call makes sense this time, if this is about self love I hope it’s just that, nothing with “grunge” and that constant use of lace/neons, instead, whatever we feel expresses ourselves best

@beachespeaches The hand tattoo won't be in bronze, it will be the jewlerry and hair. The tattoo is the 3rd prize in gold and the last 5 or so SYS that's been the item not in bronze. @KalindaKing can you start sharing the bronze prize distribution when you get back
I think it's really stupid to have this SYS part of black history month but the POC hair is almost impossible to get without spending money. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for POC dolls to constantly see items for them behind a paywall.

Honest and sincere question since this says its about black history month...
First things first, cultural appropriation is not ok. Period, full stop. So I read a quote that said something along the lines of "it's not cultural appropriation if you're truly and respectfully appreciating the culture", and I thought that was nice (but I have no culture so not necessarily my vote that matters lol, and I don't know who said the quote in the first place). So in regards to this game, if we're doing a black history month SYS then I feel like submitting a white doll would be wrong when we should be honoring black history. I'm also not black, so submitting a black doll also feels wrong. I guess my thought process is that I wonder if everyone actually styles their doll after themselves or if they style it after what they're attracted to or after a personal hero or some combination? And if we're doing a black history month SYS, then wouldn't it be better to style beautiful black dolls to honor the heritage and cultural range (not my white doll with black skin, but actually black dolls)?

Its literally not a hard concept to get we have this same talk everytime. STOP trying to honor black ppl by turning ur doll black instead maybe uplift the beautiful black dolls on the forum. Its in honor of black history month u do not need to be black to celebrate black history month.
I don’t get why silver and bronze don’t get all the top prizes. If they wanna keep silver at 4 prizes and bronze at 3, why don’t they give each the top 4 and 3 prizes? Honestly it feels unfair to me that someone in bronze could get the hair for being first but then second gets a necklace. Why don’t they get the dress. The whole prizes distribution and tiers things makes less and less sense to me every week.
I’ve been in Gold since the end of December, and I do like that I have a chance at five prizes (and always get at least one), but the lower levels just don’t seem worth playing to me.
Order Dress, Hair. This is part of Black History Month!
This blue streak in the hair is sending me. There are so many POC hairs that could have been an earnables but instead Glu throws the POC hair into the levels. The earnable hair is to appease the non POC’s
Well I’ve now received a Third “reason” from Glu about levelling down in TS tiers even though we place above the level down bar... citing it’s a development issue that has been reported to the system developers... it’s beyond a joke now really to be given different excuses about why this is happening.
You shouldn’t be taking peoples’ money to sell them one thing but then it doesn’t even work.

If Glu was generous they would switch the TS hair as earnable.
