No rewards when squad members make a purchase

I’ve had a squad member purchase 2 kstar items from my closet and have not received rewards. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
I’ve had squad members purchase diamond items and have received rewards. I reached out to customer support and was only told to check my connection, but i am sure that’s not the issue.
