Did I skip the storyline?!

I'm on level 23 currently, and the story feels very... disconnected?
Some characters talk to me as if we had already worked together, but I have NEVER seen them 
Help!?
And also, Simon, Maria, and others stopped calling me to offer gigs. Last one I did was a runway show with Ray Powers.... uhm.

    Yea same with me too I remember the last time I had the game I would be getting an overload of tasks Everytime I would level but now it's calm and I don't get calls anymore and I only get calls from Simon and Maria from time to time.

    If you have no undone tasks, and you are level 23 or another lower level and not getting storyline, or it seems you’ve missed storyline, you can ask Customer Care to take a look and see if there is a problem. Go to the top left corner of your game screen and tap the 3lines to access Options. Then tap Help and then tap Customer Care. Explain what’s happening, and ask them to check your game. Good luck :)
