I’ve had a bit of a break from this game about a year) and have resumed playing in the last couple of months. It feels like to do well in SYS now you always have to do these OTT fantasy looks 😩 does that sound right to you guys?
My girlfriend told me one of my looks reminded her of a magic: the gathering character named lolth (tw for spiders if you look her up!), so I did a look inspired by the character! definitely a tad less horror and more glam than the card, but me and my gf both thought she turned out cute ^-^
@kiki_k SYS is unfortunately rigged. Everything changed after the tier feature. The wings and crowns only cause a placebo effect. Players use it and when they score well, they think "oh, maybe it was the wings". Nah, the algorithm is only treating you well during this SYS. I love to create a bad look when I'm scoring well, because I can dress myself like a clown and still get more than 50 votes. Using fantasy looks to get higher scores create a illusion that you're scoring well because of a certain item. I used to get high notes every single SYS when I had a VIP sub. Now I struggle like most players 😩

Totally agree - after many weeks I am convinced that your score range is in a way predetermined. I consistently do okayish - then really well up to almost 60 - then drop to 30+ and silver - then back to gold, rinse and repeat, and that is so regular that I just don’t buy it that it’s all about how I am prepared for a sys. Clothes and makeup also affect the scores, I think, but only a little - looks like they often don’t allow you to drop below a certain level but not yo go higher than you are supposed to…
