Hello to those reading this. I’m creating this thread to show a visual concept of a feature I’ve wanted for a long time. This feature is a social media app within the game where we can grow a following with actual players and share photobooth pictures with friends. I believe something like this is needed in the game as the community is one of the important parts in keeping not just myself but many others interested. Sharing our looks, taking pics together and learning more about one another really helps make the game more fun.

I took a lot of influences from Instagram and features in the Kendall and Kylie game- along with a few unique things I think could really improve the game. Social media is a huge part of the Kardashian brand especially an app like Instagram which is why I believe this is the perfect thing to add to the game. I’m also pushing that this sort of feature includes the photobooth and would in result help push for an overhaul to improve features in the photobooth.

I’ve worked hard on making sure I included as much detail as I could and keeping this within the games aesthetics so that we could all visualise this into something it could be. I hope you enjoy looking through the images and descriptions. It would be helpful to react and respond, hopefully getting the possible attention of a glu employee.

KIMSTAGRAM

ACCESSING KIMSTAGRAM:

Kimstagram would work best being with the feed and ranking systems, logically accessible through the phone icon.

FEED:

The Feed is the home page showing the posts of all of those who you are following as well as your own posts. The amount of likes on the left you receive are based off your top stars tier. (A List, B List all of that) You’ll be able to see real life players that liked your post right next to the total generated amount and the comments they left underneath.

Taking pictures with friends is important so tagging through the picture itself as well as through their @ is a must! Taking pictures together will double your usual amounts of fan likes. The more people in the picture the more you “break the internet” with even more likes.

MY PROFILE:

Your profile should show what you’re currently wearing just like in squads and include a variety of information (that is optional- besides the username, your dolls name and level). All posts should be listed underneath from most recent to older posts.

You should be able to change the setting features such as your dolls name and pronouns. Also including a biography with a word limit but not too limiting so people can talk about their interests/fashion taste or really anything.

FOLLOWERS/FOLLOWING:

A list of all of your followers/following that allow you to click on their @ to check their profiles out as well.

POSTING PHOTOS:

To post photos logically you’d have to take the picture in the photobooth first. An additional option next to share will pop up labelled “post” where you should be able to post on an in game form of media.

Once clicking post, there will be a pop up. This should include the ability crop pictures, write a posts status, turn on the location depending on the background you chose and tagging others.

I am always so amazed by your talent. I can't believe how much you've paid attention to the tiniest detail. I LOVE this idea so much. Being able to interact with others in-game would definitely make it incredibly interesting and engaging. I really hope they listen to your idea and implement it, I don't think I've ever seen something so well-designed and thought of. Also, thank you so much for using my pic as an example! The followers section is super pretty with everyone's picture. Also, I just noticed the difference between the icons of followers and following, seriously how did you pay attention to that too?? As usual, your editing skills are off the chart and you've stuck to the aesthetic of the game SO well. Thank you for sharing this with us, this has been incredibly interesting and mind-blowing, from start to finish.

PHOTOBOOTH OVERHAUL

MORE BACKGROUNDS:

We get so many SYS backgrounds every update only for them to disappear. It would be great if every update, the backgrounds from the previous ones were added in. Even if it’s just some of them.

NEW POSES:

So many poses that we don’t see in the game are used for the KKH Instagram visuals and teasers. They clearly work on the dolls proportions so they would be a great inclusion for the photobooth.

EMOTIONS:

Allow us to set our dolls facial expressions and don’t have them set to a specific pose. This doesn’t have to just be emotions but face poses like duck face, silly face, singing and many more.

NEW GROUP PHOTO LAYOUTS:

More dynamic group positioning would really be great for telling a story or give a specific vibe.

With this it would also be useful to be able to change specific friends poses!

Can't believe you managed to make it even better. The sys background idea is so nice and I am pretty sure is easy to implement, because they're already there. I absolutely LOVE the group photo idea and especially being able to change every member's pose. Incredible!!!!

This is such an amazing idea and the editing is so well done!! I'd love to have something like this in game, especially if it means we'd have a chance to follow our squad mates and have more in game interactions with them. Your ideas always amaze me 🤩

This is exquisite! I would love to see all of these integrated into the game. Maybe we could start with the photo booth overhaul 👀

I’d also like to add that this would be a great way to expand achievements, sort of like the badge system on the forum but with in-game rewards.

I would love to see this in game!
I was so excited when the squad feature was released but since then there's barely any chances for interaction between squad members and this is the perfect way to introduce that.
You are so talented and the amount of work you've put into these, down to the tiniest details, is incredible and I hope Glu is inspired and implements this in game.
