The fact that if you still pay to get the access pass, you still need to get the points.. and what if you don’t reach those points? Then you paid for nothing 😭
This whole thing sounded so good in theory when I first heard of it but the way they're making it work is just a mess. They should have kept the weekday and weekend events with maybe 400 or 500 points as the max instead of 600 and put seasons as a new optional challenge in game on top of the already existing ones. Them taking away the boxes is honestly one of the weirdest things because idk why they thought people would like the changes when they're taking away the ability of players choosing whether they want to chase an item or not. There are times when I absolutely hate the items in the dbs or kstar boxes so I don't even bother with them but now with seasons I'll have to get them even if I don't like them just to get to the next page.... Let's not even talk about that pass thing on the bottom row I'll just get even more upset... They're taking away a lot of the already "well" working things of the game and sacrificing them for this new seasons challenge that was obviously not going to be liked by the players, especially free players. It's all comes down to glu being money hungry. 🙄
No see that would have been a good idea, especially since people have been suggesting something similar for years. Glu REFUSES to listen to actual good suggestions that would improve the game for players in the interest of short-term profits.
If you zoom in on the picture you see there is an icon in the top left corner of a pass which indicates to me that items that were available in gift boxes will now only be available through purchasing the pass AND earning the required points and tasks/challenges.
But as you can see here if you buy pass exclusive rewards are cheaper then regular one so that's a good thing maybe. I think I'll give it a try and we see how this goes.
But you have to pay $5.99 every month to get a pass which is $12 for me because of where I live. They could’ve made you pay with in game currency and still make money because people buy k stars and diamonds all the time.

There's not much to do during the week in the game and even as paid feature, I'm sure a lot of people would be willing pay to get exclusive clothing items by completing missions. It would be a choice and not something forced. Like a vip option. But of course you're too lazy to make extra clothes, right glu?
Yes, it would suck missing the new items for those not paying, but then we wouldn't miss the chances for clothes we already had.
Glu/EA wants all this money but still can’t come up with a better system to save progress in the game. Clownery. I’m not going to spend more than a dollar on a game that progress goes missing with any switch they make in the game. Yeah no thanks.

Idk why it's so hard for this company to understand that players will more likely pay for extra things if they're happy. Making your players (or should I say customers, because eventually we are customers) angry and disappointed is not going to make you more money, they'll just leave and find other games that make them happy.
Complete challenges to earn points and then shop for new items. There are 2 daily challenges, 4 weekly challenges and 3 multi-tiered stretch challenges. For example, a daily challenge could be submitting a look in Show Your Style, a weekly challenge could be completing the new storyline, and a stretch challenge could be spending 10 diamonds.
For a multi-tiered stretch challenge, it could ask you to spend 5 k-stars for 20 points and then spend 10 k-stars for 30 points. These may look like a VIP Event where the more you spend, the more you get and it’s cumulative.
The stretch (event-long) challenges are the same for everyone. The daily and weekly challenges may differ between players.
Once a challenge has been completed, you can collect your points from the Challenges tab. If you don’t collect them when the timer resets for new challenges, the points will be automatically added to your total, and you will receive a mail message in the game about it.

I don't know trying to find something good in this. If the tasks we need to do are easy, then it will be easy to collect points, hopefully. And to get rewards. It's sad that you have to pay more than others, don't understand why is that. 😢
