I'm holding off on spending Kstars because I have to know where this is going and I don't want to spend kstars just to regret it later. Plus I had no intention of spending much on Halloween boxes anyway.
I had done an offer for 2000 kstars specifically to open gbs this month.. this is so disheartening. Like honestly glu couldnt yall have started this garbage next month and not during halloween 😭
the whole point of an update is to make the game better and more exciting, not the opposite 🤦🏼♀️ i can’t believe we will now have to pay for things we should be getting for free 🫣 this is so sad 🫢
I haven’t posted on the forum in awhile, but I wanted to hop on to join the conversation! I’ve been playing since 2020 and was a completely free player up until i recently treated myself to a fashion goal. let me just say, seasons is going to completely ruin KKH for free players!! i’m so so sad to hear this news. i’m trying to stay optimistic but i know that without spending money, there will be almost no new items (besides what sys has in store) that aren’t mediocre and bland. not to mention, this is taking away arguably one of the most enjoyable and interesting aspects of the game!! I look forward to the holiday season of KKH the entire year leading up, and it’s just so so sad and disappointing that this change had to come right at the beginning of it:(
my biggest issue is if i pay those 6 dollars i would have to be able to see all the weekend items before and i would have to like at least 80% of them to rationalize the purchase, with weekend gift boxes you could at least choose which weekends you chase. (here what? i would have to save the points a whole month, then buy the pass at the end after ive decided i like everything, spend all the points to suddenly gain 4 outfits and do basically nothing with them cause all the sys themes they were for passed) you shouldve had a weekend box option for free players and then for the pass have some perks plus maybe be able to get the weekend box items without box chasing (so the ppl that pay have a bigger certainty that they will get them) not sure if i explained correctly, but yeah extremely dissapointed. with most things i was just frustrated but whatever, this really feels like ill care less and less and eventually just quit cause there isnt much for me to do 🤷♀️ feels like f u to the free players that grind to save up stars to chase, good on ya🥳 yeah there is still things to spend kstars on and i appreciate the pop up tb items but putting weekend boxes behind a pay wall stings edit: grammar i was so frustrated writing this, some stuff was so jumbled lol
Weekend events were the only feature in the game where I could get pretty much everything I wanted. I always have a pretty good amount of kstars ready to be spent on them. I rarely spend stars on anything else because of this. It's the only feature where free players could have the same opportunity as paid players, so this is really discouraging

i know we have complained about dating events
but one of my favorite things it’s the weekly events
