What is going on, Koko literally just said don’t blame Glu on this or else there won’t be any spoilers here at all
So what I’m understanding is that glu doesn’t want to do their job anymore because what’s so hard on finding someone to post the official spoilers? Makes no sense to me. 🤷🏻♀️
EA just keeps on making the game less & less enjoyable each day. 🤦🏻♀️
Y’all I completely, 100% understand the frustration and sadness at features in the game + forum that we love being taken away. With that said, it’s not cute at all to...1) call out specific employees and say it would “be easy” for them to post spoilers. You have no idea if said employees are even active in the game, have a female doll that they could use (or would feel comfortable using) to model spoilers, and how much time it would take. Kalinda’s job was specifically social media management. This forum was in her job description. The others who have popped in to help us are clearly in other areas of the company (from what they’ve said, probably tech).2) say Glu can easily hire more employees for this. Hiring is SO difficult these days. I know those of you who are a part of hiring at your jobs at large companies have seen this over the past year. But we are in/heading into a recession now...more and more companies simply do not have the budget for more people and are setting hiring freezes. This is horrifying for the global economy of course, and I’m not sure if Glu/the KKH-specific departments are doing this. But let’s put all of this into perspective. Koko tried coming up with a compromise, and be honest — 90% of us see spoilers and discuss them elsewhere anyway. Be grateful for the people who are actually trying to help. I know I’m going to get LOL’ed like crazy for this, but it truly does not matter to me ♥️
Please don’t blame Glu, I asked if we could post them again, so blame me. Before we had the spoilers Kalinda made each update, Glu used to reluctantly look the other way while we posted them in the Friends section, (now squads). I thought I’d try to get it back for us. I thought it would be great news, meant as a bright spot. ‘ Hey, no spoilers each week, but we can lift the ban on those unpublished spoilers.’ I thought it was nice of Eggs to allow it. But framing it like Glu is condoning hacking, they might rethink. So, am I wrong? Do you guys want to be able to see the spoilers here? Don’t ridicule Glu for saying ok to something I thought you’d want. The alternative would have been not saying anything when I post tomorrow’s thread without a Sneak Peak, or when the update came and we didn’t get spoilers.
