Each gun, armor, and mod is assigned one of four different “class” rankings:
Class C: common
Class B: uncommon
Class A: rare
Class X: very rare

BLACK MARKET: In the Black Market you can view information for every available gun; buy guns, sell guns, see which guns are owned and which are equipped. You can also find various Armor and Mods in the Black Market by purchasing different Chests.
MYSTERY CHEST has good odds at one class “A” or “B” or “C” armor.
BEST ODDS CHEST X3 guarantees three premium items. This is the only place to win class “X” armor and mods plus large warbuck payouts.

GUN POWER: Each gun has a “POWER” rating or “PWR” which defines the overall effectiveness of the gun. PWR is determined through a multitude of variables:
  • damage
  • rate of fire
  • critical hit chance
  • critical hit damage

GUN UPGRADING: Upgrade a gun to increase the overall PWR rating of that gun or to equip certain Mods that require a higher PWR gun.

GUN BUY-BACK SYSTEM: Through the Black Market or Armory you are able to sell back guns for Xplodium or Warbucks. Gun Bros 2 encourages you to try out various guns so if you no longer want a gun you can sell it back for almost the same value as its original cost (even after extensive upgrade costs!)

SPECIAL WEAPONS: Class X weapons go above and beyond…they cannot be grouped into any single category but they generally feature extremely high damage and rates of fire. Most Class X weapons also have unique behaviors such as multiple bullet types, homing bullets, and more!

GUN BARRIERS: Starting in Campaign 2 “THE REFINERY” many enemies will be equipped with T.O.O.L. shield barriers (Red or Blue) that protect them from your Gun and Mod attacks. These shields are not indestructible, but they do make it more difficult to defeat enemies and protect them from being knocked back or stunned. In the armory, you can select any owned weapon and add barrier penetration for either red or blue. It is highly recommended that you observe the “Barrier Warning” section on the pre-mission screen and add the correct Barrier Break colors to your guns before entering a mission. Generally, it’s a good idea to bring one weapon of each color into a mission.

ARMOR
Armor can be found in Mystery Chests purchased through the Black Market, or in loot crates dropped by enemies in Campaign Missions. Armor does not have any individual stats; instead your bro is given permanent stat increases to Health Points (HP) or Speed (SPD) so you can customize the look of your bro without depending on specific armor stats. If you find a complete armor set (head, torso, legs) your bro will receive a permanent bonus stat increase to your Health Points (HP).

Armor as loot: Every campaign has a “core” group of items that can frequently drop as loot, but items outside of the core group can be found occasionally. Ex: The S.W.A.B. armor set is a core drop in campaign 2. You will be most likely to find this in 2, but there is a small chance of finding S.W.A.B. pieces in campaign 1 or 3.

HONEY BADGER TANK
Occasionally in Campaign Mission Mode and Endless Arcade Mode your team back at F.R.A.G.G.E.D. HQ will send an air drop with the Honey Badger Tank. Once in the Tank you will be invincible for 20 seconds and have a variety of arsenal at your disposal:
  • Automatic Chain Guns: use the right control stick to aim and you’ll find that the Honey Badger will lay a continuous barrage of chain gun bullets at anything you’re pointing the tank at.
  • Rockets: press the “rocket” button to shoot 2 groups of Quad Rockets. Cooldown timer lasts 6 seconds so you’ll be able to get two shots off if you are quick enough.
  • Tank Boost: press the “boost” button to ram the Honey Badger into large groups of enemies or to seek out enemies in hiding.
  • You can manually move the Honey Badger Tank into enemies and cause continuous damage or knock enemies out of the way.
  • The Tank will start blinking a few seconds before the 20 second timer runs out; when this happens the Honey Badger will explode and cause major damage to any nearby enemies.

Ooh I see.. So that's why a 480pwr death forge can still be twice as powerful as the far, far more expensive, 1080pwr spitfire pistols..
Saved up to buy a higher class weapon to move ahead in the missions and ended up with over 200,000$ worth of green disco sticks with less power than I already long since had :0

I'm looking at the hunchback as another possibility but before I start saving for it, is it anywhere close to its pwr rating or just another megazone prop?
