Where best to find Rubies

I have been playing the game since it came out and most of my characters are maxed out and I am to the final two missions. What is holding me back is lack of rubies. Could people tell me where is best to farm rubies or direct me to a thread that already has this information?

Here are the places I can already rely on getting them:

1) The leftmost forest in area II (quite consistent)
2) Rognan's mission in area IV (somewhat consistent)
3) The cavern to the left of Rognan's mission in area IV (somewhat consistent)
