glitches occur during certain missions......

So I'm an avid player of CK and over time I've found that certain missions tend to freeze up amd I have to stop the game and sometimes restart my "smart" phone in order to even play other missions. Does this happen to anyone else and how do I reduce lag without buying a new phone "shudder"
