Need Internet to proceed

I can't seem to level without wifi or do specific missions. It says I need to connect to the Internet, additionally one of my characters is stuck, finished leveling, but it won't let me press on him or use him and "speed up" is still present.

The biggest issue is I currently do have wifi enables and am in a wifi area. All of my other games are connecting to the Internet without any issues at all

I joule mention I have tried force restarting and reconnecting to the wifi several times.
