Does block stack? Evidently it does not

I ran an experament to see if block items stack.

Methodology:
  1. Equip as many block boosting items as I can on my tank
  2. Take the tank and a healer to a fight with an archer/gunner
  3. Kill everyone but the archer/gunner
  4. Continually run the tank to the corner furthest from the archer and start counting
    • Count every attach which does not miss. This means the ones that are either blocked or do damage. I found that not healing except to avoid death makes it easier to count.
    • Count the blocks
  5. When the total count got to 50 I stopped and record results.
  6. Repeat after removing all but the best block enhancing item.

Results
Base bonus + 40% skills bonus + items 24% + 23% + 22%
-blocked 9 out of 50 for 18%

Base bonus + 40% skills bonus + item 24%
-blocked 13 out of 50 for 26%

Conclusion
Just like casting and attack speed. Block does not stack.

I'd like to repeat this with hit-rate, aim, dodge and critical hit bonuses but I lack the variety of items needed to run the experiment. If you give it a try please post. If you see a problem with my methodology please post. Once we get a set of results together we can add to the FAQ.

I have tried this with dodge and block and you do see an increasce when you wear more but it's not the specific % it says. You have to think of the % in terms of skill points. The more you have the better but it's not 100%.

Same with speed increase. I have 220% and 240% ony casters and I timed their cast speeds with 0 gear to full gear. It was only about 100% faster if that.

Time with the highest single item too. My experience is that the score is the same as when maxed out. Only 1 item counts
