Notifications often aren't working

2-3 days ago the game stopped sending me notifications even though I have "Notifications" checked in the options settings. I am receiving notifications from other Glu games. There have been many times when I should have received a notification that my soul jar was full, my collection was attacked and that I was about to run out of time to defend my artifact. I know you won't receive some notifications when you aren't connected to the Internet, but I was connected every time I should have received a notification. The soul jar full notification doesn't need an Internet connection to warn you.

Today I got 2 notifications that my collections were attacked. On my screen they both showed that they were attacked 1 hour ago, but when I opened up the app it showed I had 58 minutes and 2 hours and 5 minutes left to defend the artifacts so my screen should have shown that they were attacked 2 and 3 hours ago.
