Spend gold on #1 draft picks or upgrades?

I have about 2,400 in gold and during the current sale I could either spend it on 10 #1 draft picks or two 1,200 gold upgrades. I'm at level 7 in both hitting coach and trainer, but it's so tempting to take a shot at 10 #1's and hope to land a stud. You think it's possible to get players like Tulo, Stanton, and Trout through draft picks anymore? I feel like the only way to get those guys now is to buy them. Like if you already have one of those guys it's near impossible to get another one of them through the draft.

Upgrades for sure.

Agreed. Upgrade. Upgrades improves your whole team. The odds of landing a stud 5 star with only 10 picks are about 3-5 % at best.

While there is always a chance to get a "stud" player, but the odds are you will draft what I call someone destined for the recycle bin. The upgrades are a sure thing, and will enhance the players already on your roster. My vote would be upgrades.
