Big League Challenge Standings - Question

Does anyone know how the Big League Challenge Daily/Weekly stats works? For example, I'm currently ranked #12 for Daily Hits (289) and #1 for Weekly Hits (454); however, the guy in the #1 spot for Daily Hits has 1,299 total hits... How is that possible??

    There are multiple groups for daily and weekly which are tied to when you log in.
    In-game name: Robotstove
    In TSB 2014: Legends, beat playoffs fourteen times (RETIRED)
    In TSB 2015: Greatest of All Time (GOAT) (RETIRED)
    In TSB 2016: Recently returned and rising!

    The group you get paired with on Saturday evening when the highscores reset is your group for weekly. Each day you'll get a new group for your daily depending on the time you open the app.
