#1 draft picks or position draft?

#1 draft picks and drafting players by position(good to great) both cost the same- 300 gold. It would be nice to choose what position I'm most in need of upgrading but do I have better odds at a 4 or 5 star player with #1 draft picks?

Never go by position. It draws from a much larger pool of players, just stick with #1.

The one exception to this would be for example if you had every single catcher in the game, every single one but buster posey. Well then yeah go ahead and draft the catcher position

I've had success 1 time using position draft. Most of my lineup was solid as could be but I needed Starting Pitching. Ended up with Johnny Cueto using 2 spins

Position draft isn't worth it IMO.

Agree with the comments here. Had no luck with position drafts. 1 drafts r even better when they are on sale for 225. My advice, wait for that sale and see how it goes.
