#1 to #999999999???

Insane turn on events that doesn't make any sense and wondering what is up with this game.

So I started my account on the weekend and was developing a straight dominate team. Prior to this morning I had a record of 90-10 and was killing it in the weekend event. In the last hour, I was ranked #2 in the "compete" section of the event and over 1000 points shy of ranking #1 and earning the 5 star pitcher!

I waited till 20 minutes until event ended and had full energy and went off to take down #1! I used 300 gold and with 5 seconds left in the event I won the 5th game for 280 points.

I thought I failed and had only earned #2 in rankings, but I went to check and BAM!!! I tied #1 with 20200 points!!! Insane!!! I won the 5 star pitcher!!

I hang it up for the night thinking now I have the most dominate team ever!

So this morning I begin the new event and select the player tourney at the lowest level (2k for novice), and I get absolutely destroyed!!! The previous 8 hours I was slamming teams by 8+ runs with a 90%+ odds of winning, to now it's the direct opposite!!!

My 5 star pitcher gets raked and has over 6 era in 3 games played and every team is dominate! ***?!?!

I spent all kinds of time and a total of 400 gold just to get this player and now my whole team is worthless! What is up with this? I am only ranked amateur!

What do I need to do???? Do I need to trade away my 5 star pitcher so I can win again??? What is up with this???

I don't get that, I am a 2.5 star team and only ranked amateur yet the degree of difficulty went to impossible when getting one player? How can that be big boy league when I'm pretty much as low as I can be?

If I may.. Here is what I think happens with that.

Daily event pair you with as many teams as possible up to a point (Might be 999 might be 9999, I don't know, may not even have a limit to this) that have a similar level to yourself (Novice, Pro, Amateur, etc).

The Tournaments however will likely try to group you according to Levels, but as some point it runs out of people in your level that are currently looking for a game and has to then go to the next levels. Not a ton of folks are trying to play these Gold tournaments for example so one of my teams that I just started last week gets paired up with guys with multiple Primes, because if they didn't pair me with them than the tournament wouldn't fill. Make sense?

Hmm that is one theory thanks for feedback...I'm not sure that holds water though as the tourney mode indicates it could take 3 hours to fill but loads in 30 seconds...plus the tourneys are today's event so they are especially popular... hopefully there's another solution but the only thing that seems to make since is dumping my 5 star player so I can win again...lol weird game
