Derbys and Missing gold when app needs to reload

Im waiting to connect for 50 gold derby, app needs to reload during 25 second connect period and when app reloads I'm missing 100 gold despite only being in 50 gold derby never mind the fact that I wasn't connected yet to an opponent nor did I initiate app restart.
