Tournament freezing at end scoreboard screen

from looking at previous discussions it seem this has been a problem for many people over the last few weeks and it hasn't been fixed yet. Is there anyway to get by or fix this that anyone has

It happened to me again yesterday, and to unfreeze the tournament game I started a bonus game - played to the end, and swiped out of the application as the final screen which says "you won!" was loading.  When I re-opened the app, my tournament game was free.  It's worked for me every time.

I have been stuck for last 8 hours today and the fix above doesnt work.

Customer care eventually fixed it for me (I think). Took 3 days
