Why “NO DONATING” certain items in Clubs

What does it mean when a club says, “no donating gloves, balls, helmets, etc.?” What is the point or purpose they are trying to accomplish?

they do that so they can stay at bronze so the events are easier

Usually you just say no gloves and u donate the other two and you won’t level up the club

Correct, donating levels up the club. Some clubs, for various reasons, wish to stay at their current club level. By not allowing donations of a certain type, it ensures that the club will not level up.

But is that true that the events are easier for a fact @cubbies11111. I can not notice.  The only thing I notice is the rewards suck.

my club plays in one and donates in another. Just our preference

Some clubs feel they get an advantage/easier bracket by staying at a low level. Other clubs like to donate systematically to maximize rewards. It really depends on what the leader feels is the best strategy for the club.

exactly! Hate getting paired up with ANARCHY! Christ they kill it!

@ItsDaDogInMe as others have posted it is not to level up the club. Most usually do this to stay bronze and face weaker competition.

Some clubs believe that by staying bronze, or even bronze 1, as a club you get easier competition. I can tell you that this is false. We used to restart every week. We haven’t in 3 weeks now and are actually having the same, if not better success here the last 2 weeks. We’ve gotten the 1.4 multiplier and the 3X winstreak each of the last 2 weeks now

It’s the first time we have had both of those since they changed it to where only the 1st place club gets the best accolade

Systematically donating assures that everyone gets the rewards for leveling up. If you level up multiple levels at a time, you only receive the last reward.
