Will #freestufffriday happen today? I am guessing GLU is a bit preocupied with the fact half of their fan base isn't able to play.

Probably not if they can't fix the IOS freezing issue by then. If the #freestufffriday gifts expire at midnight like global gifts, which I am not sure of, then they want the freezing problem solved first so that all those that win can collect. More than likely the reason they haven't sent the twitter gift yet as those are global and would expire.

It was never stated that there would be any compensation for the issues yesterday. I know many people lost a lot of resources/opportunities, but the company may feel they have already more than compensated the past few days with all the twitter goal giveaways.
