WHO and Slugfest - Reset glitch

Is it a common glitch that sometimes when you auto play WHO or Slugfest, you get the spinning loading symbol for a long period and then when you reset the game it resets you back to round 1 of the level?

I just played round 5 of level 1 slugfest, all 4 previous rounds autoplayed normally, then I hit autoplay here and it's just loading away. Finally after 5 minutes waiting, I reset. Back to round 1.

I haven't had it happen on autoplay, but any time a game is initiated and not completed, it is common for the round the reset. Happens to me all the time when I get a phone call while playing (even if I decline the call). Very frustrating when you're on round 10 of a level.

Happens to me everytime gifts drop or the free daily mystery box. Go from round 10 ro round 1 in a blink.
