Dumbest main event ever!! Glu is screwing up

You developers are ruining your own app and pissing so many players off. Its always the same anymore, either way to easy or way to hard.

I bought 13 boxes this event 8-24-18 and still have zero players to show. Is it really a player box at all? Im useless now unless i give you all my money like im a crack addict that need my fix. 

I wont do it. It ends today! I quit this stupid effing app i once loved and now hate. Ive had bad weekends before, but this is a joke. You just lost 100% of my money because youre to stupid to realize fair gameplay if it bit you in the ass. Why play a game at all like this. To glu, winning equals spending gobs and gobs of money. 

If effkrt is rewarded by me giving you money, im out. I paid more then enough to have a player i still dont have eff you whoevers idea this was. This app is now being deleted x5 phones i have it on. Hope others do the same.

What greedy, greedy dummies youve become. Stop worrying about that new bmw and start worring about your app that feeds you and pays your bills now.

I used this as a tool for stress, but now it has become the stress. They have made the game a money grab. Every week I spend a lot of money to get players and it has become increasingly difficult to beat the odds that have established. It is bs now. 0-11 or 13, I quit counting out of frustration.

In terms of value, these are the best boxes they've offered. 10% at a good five star player for 500 gold, 2.5% of which could be a great prime player. Y'all need to relax and stop being so results oriented.

It's more than reasonable to expect the events to be fairly constructed and loot boxes to be winnable.

Like in year's past, this game is based on RNG(much like video poker). If you don't like or understand that concept, then it probably isn't for you. A guy pulls 40 boxes and gets 1 player. Another guy will pull 2 boxes and get 2 players. Such is life in a game based on RNG.

I agree these are best value weekend boxes to date....if they had a great fan reward this w/e I'd be all in....that said if folks are reporting their pulls truthfully there have been a really high amount of xp pulls that while statistically possible are not probable...... hope my diatribe makes any sense

Its the truth, im into it 15 boxes and useless now. I could have had a million pts streaking. But i truted the opressor and learned. I will never spend on an attempt to get a bonus player ever again. Guys reading this wont know it. But glu can see my account and they will know. Until seriius change is made, im out.

Honestly its all luck of the draw, people can complain all they want. I went 0 for ???? 60,000k gold last weekend. It happens. I then pulled 5 primes this week from 7 prime picks and got sale in 6 pulls today. I know other that went 0 for 30 today with no luck. Other that went 4 for 4. Its all dumb luck and someone people get the crap end of the stick. Its happens. Trust me, it sucks when your on the losing end of it. I spent 60k and got a crappy SP legend that I wont waste XP because its too valuable to come by. I almost raged quit this game a number of times, but I had good people in this game talk me down and realize gold will come back and its just a game.

I def feel you on this post. I seen where someone went 0-47 on boxes. You expect they let you at least get one player since they just don't give these players out any other day. I lucked up and went 2-4 on the boxes but i def feel the frustrations because my whole team wasnt as lucky.

I'm with @dkarski87 . I've had insanely bad weekends before . The nickname box weekend I went 0 for 60k gold as well on the good players. And some weekends I've spent 30k gold before pulling a big bonus player. Then I have a weekend like this one . I went 0 for 4 on weekend boxes . So I tried my luck on Nolan Ryan . Got him on third pull. Being the fly by the seat of my pants guy I am and thinking luck is now on my side . I went back to weekend boxes pulled string bean manealator and Baez . 3 for 10 I think I was . Anyways. When your hot your hot . It's frustrating and you wanna break the phone when your getting crap.... But good Lord Almighty don't tell me it all isn't worth it when you make a great pull . That rush just like you won a game of blackjack at the casino "winner winner chicken dinner "!!!

You found a needle in a haystack. I didnt even need a big pt guy. But i paid more then enough for at least a 1k pt guy. Literally no pt for me to play. Cant even streak now that i spent thousands on weak xp boxes. Just a total waste and a huge FU to their customers.

I will however say I do support a pity timer being instituted . As has become a popular theme . If the odds say you would get a player say 1 out of every 15 boxes at most . Then a pity timer would ensure that if you've yet to pull a player on the 14th try . You would then be guaranteed a player on the 15th pull . That or make 2weekend box options . 1 just the box and one that (like the 5#1 picks or prime picks ) guarantees you a player for X amount of gold

I would agree but... If you read global or facebook today, im not alone. Something happened and the odds were seriously stiffer then usual. There was obviously a glitch that may be fixed now, but im not paying to find out.

Maybe there was, but we all know they wont admit it if there was. We had 1 guy in our club pull Nolan on 1 pull 2 days ago! It happens. Needle in a haystack sure, but there will always be winners and losers on both sides. I agree about the pitty timer, it should be in place. The odds should stay true in that aspect.

There's roughly a 95.7% chance of you getting a player if you bought 30x boxes. Stinks, but you got extreme results. @Bigpredfan , as a comparison, it's similar odds to people who pull a prime in their 2nd box. It happens.

Look, the real issue most people are having with this weekend's event isn't really about the boxes at all. The boxes in this game are always rigged in some fashion.

@DFBB said the most enlightened thing earlier about the boxes being little different than video poker. That's true.

Most of us accepted long ago that weekend boxes were never good deals. Take one or two pulls. If you got lucky, you could put up 50 million on the weekend. If not, you saved your gold to play longer streaks with lesser bonus players. Maybe you only put up 10 million for the weekend with 3 team based regular bonus players scoring 1k a hit instead of 10k.

That's where the frustration has come in for a lot of people, whether they realize it themselves or not. This weekend, in order to score any bonus points at all, you had to get your bonus players through purchasing the box. There are no lower tier bonus players that users might actually already own. No 1k bonuses for hits by Braves or something similar.

Eventually, that'll likely cost GLU their MLB licensing deal or get them rebanned by the Apple App Store for violating rules on gambling. As long as the loot boxes are only a portion of the gaming experience, those organizations are likely to overlook the gambling aspect as not being the most significant element of gameplay.

With this weekend's display of blatant money grabbing and turning the entire focus of the game to the most dubious element in the game, the loot boxes, they've alienated a bunch of paying and nonpaying users. And, they've made it more likely that their partners are going to think twice about renewing agreements.

That's what I was going to say. The lack of "smaller" bonus players could really bite Glu back. The only problem I see is that is plausible, albeit expensive, to rack of points from streak alone. But I don't know. I kinda liked this week's style of box. Didn't buy any, but a delay after opening a box means a player (you all should know what I mean). In previous boxes, buying a box then knowing I would get a player would get me really hyped... then I would get Kyle Hendricks. It's a small thing, but I like it. If only they added normal 3.5-4.5 star players as bonus players...

I think the problem this weekend is unless u spend money to get player you are NOt getting any bonus points 

other weeks if u dint get players that’s okay because u could get bonus points using the bonus teams 

but this weekend? No bonus for u unless u get 1 players in those 60 boxes or else I get 100 a game good luck. 

Should of ar least made 2 mlb teams be bonus to at least get 1 k a hit if u dint get lucky

@SuperKingOfPaisas not true about spending money. I went 0-11 on boxes with current gold. Bought back in on 39.99 deal for 4800 gold. I’m now 0-23 in all on that box. Not my weekend at all. I did pull chipper jones on first box last weekend so I guess things are evening out.

What a tool, yea I work for GLU and they gave me 0 players for 60k spent. Smart guy! Ask anyone here, I really am a spy for GLU. I hacked all the WOH events to win my team, its really easy. All you have to do is win!

I was 8 for 50 so had 16% hit. (2 were duplicate) so 12% really. One pull was a prime pitcher. I used 2x gold offers to accumulate the 22k gold I spent.
