Season mode resetting

Anyone know what happens when you reset? Does it cost gold? I was just wondering if you could play your 4 games and keep resetting to mine pennants or do you have to wait 8 hours after a reset to play again?

It costs gold, depending on how far away in the season you are. You then start feom 0-0

You can also reset a season by switching teams but that costs 150 gold.
