Base running in WOH

Why do base runners act so differently in WOH compared to other events? They dont tag up and run on fly balls into the middle outfielder in woh, but will give you the option to let them on other events. they also run home when on 3rd with no outs on a slow roller back to the pitcher, but never in the other events. They should obviously run better in late inning situations.

Scripted....they follow the part written for given pitch sequences so yeah, it’s different.

Another discrepancy are the long balls that are easy HR's in standard games/matches but somehow stay in the park or hit the fence in WoH. It's almost as if there's a magnetic push on the fence to make certain it stays in the filed of play. Go figure.

Keep in mind that the result is determined as soon as you tap to swing. Everything after that merely for visual effects.
If you're not having fun, you're losing.

Even if the left fielder or third baseman has to teleport through the wall into the dugout/bullpen to make the grab.
