When I set up match play, I almost ALWAYS play every inning manually. Though there are great pitchers, and legends, etc...the pitchers - assuming that "said pitcher" is in the 370-410 range - who give me the most difficult time hitting are:
Lefty: Clayton Kershaw
- The 12-6 curve is an automatic pop-up, unless you get lucky, EVEN when it is right down Broadway with your 410 platinum-8 hitters!
Righty: Masahiro Tanaka
- In the bigs, this freak throws SEVEN pitches...including a 4 seam, a modified 2 seamer, a sick splitter he'll even throw for strike one, cutter, sinker, an 80 mph tight curve, and his best pitch... a nasty slider. I forgot what Glu gave him, but it sure seems like he is equipped with all seven pitches....When I face an opponent with Tanaka anywhere NEAR 375+, I want an ice pack and a few aspirins. It's going to be a 2-1 game IF we're lucky!
