Need help evolving

so I’ve never really played this game at least not on my own phone and I can’t figure out how to evolve??

You can only level the player to your current team level, so if you are a bronze level team, your players cap at bronze 10.  Win your bronze VI playoffs, and move to silver, then you can use gold and Evo to get access to the silver levels for your players.
