Is it at all possible to hire a 4th character without purchasing gems in game?
I figured I could save some gems and unlock at least 1 character but it seems the cheapest is a lot of gems and it's never going to happen that way

If you buy a character, always buy the lvl 1 character as buying the packs is actually worthless as you do not get the bonus skill points that way.
