It seems when that when melee characters perform a critical strike, the animation and time between swings is longer than for a normal attack. I can't accurately say how much longer, but it seems to be around 2x as long to perform a critical compared to a normal attack (for Rogan and Brenna)
Since crits do roughly 2x damage, but take 2x as long, the actual damage output seems to be about the same?
It is even worse for a moving target since the crit attack pauses so long that they are gone by the time the attack attempts to land anyway.
If what I'm seeing is correct, then there is almost no point to stacking +crit gear on Rognan and Brenna, as it makes no difference in total damage output.
I really like this game, but all these oversights/bugs make it very frustrating.
