I know the purpose of gems is to make a profit however I was wondering if I purchase an item for a character with gems and then upgrade that same item could I not get some gems back? Obviously not the full amount but even 1/3 of the purchase price would be fantastic as I really no use for the coins in game other than for training costs. This would motivate me to buy gems so that my money goes a little further
