Daily Bonus Tier Reward Doesn't Update

I notice that the tiers for weekly mission bonuses rewards update. I'm unsure if the daily bonuses tiers are supposed to update. What I mean is in the weekly missions when my items moved to tier 6, the rewards became tier 6 items. However, with daily bonuses they have been tier 2 items, which was the tier I was when I started to get them but they are still tier 2 today. Perhaps this is a bug?

Glu does not want to give away free Tier 6 premium items. They want you to buy them.
