O'da

Okay, so during the recent Head Hunter event I purchased the chest and finally got O'da. I was pleased because his skills look like they could be great asset to my team. Even at level 1 and wearing his default grey gear his attack and health are already close to that of my top units who have at least 20 levels on him and superior gear.

The main reason that I started this is because when I go to an area, select my difficulty level, and try to put O'da in my group I do not see him in the slide list of my characters. Is it because I own every other character (except goblin chief guy)? Any ideas why because I really do not want to go into my chharacters screen every time I want to add him.

Add him on your heros screen before going to a battle.

I also wanted to add that I got O'da from the chests, but the way it happened was slightly different. I saved up a ton of tokens and then bought 10 of them in a row. On the 10th chest, it didn't do the whole spinning wheel animation, it just said 'guaranteed with 5 purchases' and showed a picture of O'da.

Mine started at the max level of my party, with full double skill points available to spend, and all tier 6 blue items 'of Aim'... I was quite happy needless to say.

Anyone else got O'da this way?

No but really awesome. I bought 5 chests in a row one time and I keep getting the same le green gear. I have had a few good items but still nothing that I need aka Oda.

You mean to say that anyone who buys 10 chests in a row is GUARANTEED to get Oda? That doesn't make sense... Can anyone else confirm this? I've been saving my ass off to get enough tokens for Oda so this would be really helpful...

I can confirm that this has not worked in the past

I'v bought over 10 chests it a row. But i don't know if something has changed in a recent patch

Hi pple I am a little confused.. which is the better option of picking up O'da?

Option 1) 6000 tokens from the event shop
Option 2) roll the die via the mystery chests

I don't have any characters with maximum double skills -> the most I have is Fel'mor @ 53 skills in total (I might surpass that with Nar'Ghal by a little) so I would ideally like O'da to get the same and be at level 40?

In that case, I should save up for Option 1?

PS: I have also bought at least 10+ chests (not at a single time though) and have picked up a grand total of zero useful gear.

I think I prefer to play it safe and just spend the 5k tokens on him. I tried to buy one chest and got one (1!!!) lousy rune...
I'm not wasting any more tokens there.

If I buy him with tokens, what level will he be and how many skill points?

I got oda from the chest and he was level 1 with 1 skill. I didn't buy multiples, just buy as i go and it still says "free with 5 purchase" when I got him. It definitely wasn't my fifth chest nor my tenth chest. When I got that "free with 5 purchase" message I was so mad, since I thought I need to get him 5 times from the event chest...until I saw him sitting pretty in my heroes page.

this is true. you'll get mostly blue and green stuff. best reward is 40 gems. at least for me.

You know if its still possible to take oda or grazaak with 5k tokens? I did first week with Oda and now Ive earned again 5k tokens to test Grazaak but its been many weeks ago that I dont see any hero to buy for that amount? Will it come back or shall we spend 5k tokens in crap chests...

I may have started the rumor that when you purchase a gunner for 5/6K tokens they start with stats which match your highest hero. I don't know that for a fact. I bought both gunners this way and both came at level 40 with 78 skill points. That matched my top stats when I bought the first but I'm not sure about the second.

Could be that they simply come "maxed" out no matter what. Then again, I bought them before the last patch. There could be a change put in...
