Runic item capabilities List

One question I often ask myself when deciding if or how much I should upgrade a runic item is this. When I finally get it to Orange, what will it be able to do? The thing is, I want to compare it to what I've got on-hand and decide whether or not it's worth it.

I've only got one item cranked up to Orange but I'm going to post it here. Add to the post with what you know and we will soon have a useful list.

This list has been moved to a public Google Docs spreadsheet. There are three tabs. One each for Runic, Orange and Purple items and sections in each sheet for Tank, Spell Caster and Damage Dealer items.

Please share your information to better enable good buy/sell/fuse decisions.

Kassia does 1.3k/hit, crits 1.8k. Supersonic, about 2.8k/hit, crits 4-5k

It's El Diablo in particular that lead me to this thread. I could see it as the War without End 4-star bonus but I had been building it all along. When I got El Diablo and saw I had wasted hundreds of upgrade items on the runic Palka I was disappointed. I figured if we had a comparison chart this could be avoided.

In general it looks like orange runic ~= orange normal so I'm focusing on my blue inventory items.

Hehe I was hoping that it would be the highgrade version.

Guess it was not, But at this moment, i need other stuff to be orange more then i need a highgrade palka

Information required. If its a chest item or a mission item. Separet them with Low Grade, and High Grade

So its a lotery? Some items are better simple orange. Some are better runic?
I plan to upgrade Unique arquebus Of harm for my grazzak. But red that its much worse than simple gun. So a little bit confused. To upgrade or not to upgrade.
On the other hand. I wont pay money to get that other orange gun. And to get that by playing is almost impossible. I'm saving tokens for the last available heroes (o'da). So no new glu credits for about a month.

These are low grade though along with the Royal Espadrille that you get from missions. If you get the high grade versions via chest, they would be
Wolfbane III 262 Max 601 block 16% +16hp @ level 1 for example

only the Spirit Rod III and El Diablo III legendary orange items from the last two missions in the new area are that of the higher grade found in mystery chests

I think we should add a legendary item guide too. Personally, I think it's better to fuse armor type runic items first since those aren't available in legendary form unless you buy the chests from the store. While legendary weapons are powerful, you can get good frost or acid arcane weapons from weekly events. Head wear and foot wear though can be obtained from missions...well, not all but most anyway.

Look at the notice on the top posting. Both the legendary and runic guides are now on a Google Docs spreadsheet where you can edit/add items as you discover and upgrade them.

I may be wrong... but does kassia ever miss even without any items that are +hit? I don't think I've ever seen her miss and I don't even have her hit skill leveled all up.

what do you think about leveling up runic items with blues upgraded to level 4 (not 5, to balance out the gems).

And level up runic with greens (tier 1-4) upgraded to level 2 (requires no gems, chance high, price low. and I have a lot of gold.)) tier 1-4 are cheap, so why dont level up runic with them?

Ya sure go for it, I've alread updated the guide some time ago with trying to use level 4 blues.

As for green to level 2 that should work. I had to use a lot of blues level 2, when i ran out ot amesty

and I have tryed to upgrade grey runic item from level 0 to 1.
with 1 blue item (level 4) it cost 5 runes.
with 4 green items (level 2) it cost 4 runes.

but I think the rune price is the same for the same amount of xp. Because with one blue item it gives more xp than 1 level. its 1 level +

Am I right?

I've got so many runes that I haven't cared about how many get consumed. Generally it seems that the lower quality items costs more runes though.

When you say that with one blue item it gives more xp than 1 level do you mean that you get 2 levels? That has never been my experience. I always get one level or less no mater how much I go over what's needed.

little help needed. can't decide what is more importat.
pretty soon will end upgrading runic armor, helm and boots to orange level 10 for my tank.
what to do next?
updrade armor, helm, boots to DPS? or to healer?
or maybe even upgrade weapons? healer weapon? or dps weapon?

dps job is to kill, not to take damage, so ligical it would be to upgrade weapon, but for kasia I like frost weapon. for grazzak i would like to get poison (dont have it). started to upgrade runic arquebus already blue at level 9.

healer job to heal, so too. logical to upgrade weapon, but i have spirit rod III max attack 448 (is it low grade or high?)

AND I hate when mobs kills my dps or healer with one hit (event on tuesday and wednesday). so it would be logical to upgrade armors to both of them.

Well the 3 most stat effective items to upgrade to runic are: The bow for kassia, the staff for Z'dar and the plaka for Talnac. They are all 2 handed items.

I used El diablo for Tlanac. So i'v only got the bow and staff to level 10 orange. Almost finished with the warrior boots.

But this i can say.

Kassia's orange items have attack speed + hit rate. purple store item have attack speed. So i would say get the orange tier5 helm to level 10 using gems and buy a pair of purple boots and armor. With party level 520 i was not one shotted by anything except ocul last mission 4 star.

Healer same thing here. The bonuses are cast speed and crits. Healer don't need crits and purple item from the store give cast speed.

But Z'dar gets a lot of help from crits. So if you are upgrading any armor make it Z'dars helm. You should have the legendary low grade boots from mission.
But i'm not 100% sure that any of the runic items for spellcasters have crit bonus.

thats not much sense to upgrade till orange spelcasters items if purple and orange gives the same. orange maybe a little more...

I'm 504 level. and tomorrow will buy O'da, thats 544 lvl.

but I was focused on tank, and my kassia now with only green runic items @ leve 2

need to switch to blues, purple or upgrade runic.

healer already have orange weapon and boots. purple hat and book. only armor is blue...
but all of them are poorly upgraded, because spending all the money to level up party level and runic items (and thats cost a lot

)...

Well i only have Low grade orange armor items. So i cant say for sure. But the lowgrade armor for kassia has 2 bonues

Good question. I've seen helm, armor and boots but never an off-hand defense item. I don't even think I've seen one fly by in the chests. I double checked my inventory which has about 60 items but no shield.
