I've been playing since the spring I believe. But I log at least 4-5 hours a day. I play at work, on the toilet, while watching tv. Basically this game has given me ADD. Back in the day I was able to buy a lot of great free agents. I had an amazing lineup before they switched me to an MLB lineup. Then I had several duds in place of awesome players. I've never spent a dime. I just max out on upgrades without spending money, and then use all my leftover cash to buy 2nd round drafts, which turns into 1st round drafts. I'm really hoping to land a 5 star pitcher soon.

I had no idea how long the game was out, never looked into it. I've given up getting a pitcher, it just saddens me. And my 4* Harper is far worse than some 3* guys. Fun game, just wish there was more consistency. What's your record? I am just 112-74. But i've not being playing very long.

Buy lots of second round drafts and you'll eventually get good pitchers. I like to accumulate 100k+ and buy a whole bunch in a row. Better odds I think of getting 1 or 2 good players.

Love the game, and I'm pretty happy with my team for not spending any money. Currently in All-Star and have a 76-48 record, mostly from playing friends. Jimmy Rollins has been hitting over .350 for 20+ games, while Perez has the worst BA on the team despite being my best "hitter".

Wow, nice lineup Liverpool. You're stacked. I'm pretty shocked you landed that many 5 star players without spending money.

BTW I like facing Uehara. He throws so many strikes that you can pretty much swing every time and you will rarely strikeout. And swing early because his pitches accelerate just before they cross the plate. They threw physics out the window totally when they designed him in this game.

Yeah I had a weekend where I got top 50 in the three categories and got some nice #1 draft picks. There is nothing worse than saving up the gold to get a #1 pick and getting some 3* reliever.

Wow your team is good, what are your upgrade levels like? You can definitely beat them with that team, I beat them and my squad isn't as good but I focus on upgrades. I wish I had just 1 of your 3 awesome cathcers.

Also Tanner Roark is highly rated but pretty easy to hit as a human

Yeah when I got Roark I forgot that it put him in the rotation automatically and then lost Hamels trading in my inactives. Hamels is one of the hardest to hit IMO. I have all the hitting, base running and pitching upgraded to 9 and everything else put to 6. I find it irritating that the Legends teams always scores 1 more run than I do whenever I score. I get 1 run in an inning then they get 2. I get 3 then they score 4. Most of my wins against them have been in the bottom of the ninth.

My impression is that it's better to spend on pitching and upgrades than hitters. Especially those that can throw 95+ with accuracy. We have some control over hitting, but none over pitching, aside from player choice.

The only other factor is speed. It's nice seeing runners take the extra base or score without a prompt (which is a base coach upgrade as well). Not sure if the power factor means much. In a month of playing my 8 power hitter has 22 hrs, but in a few weeks I have a 3 power lvl hitter with six.

Are you asking real money if so 1.99 to get rid of ads I camt give you an estimate of the amount of money and gold I to had to spend besides its way too much lol but it seems it was all for nothing since I'm on day 4 of not being able to get the app to open but my wins are 650 something and 400 and something losses most the losses are resigning playoff games to figure out their pitch counts and to find out which of my relievers will hold and save and which will blow the saves I know it sounds crazy since it hurt my win percentage but I'm hall of fame on the verge of legend division and well you see my lineup
