How do I Get to PVP?

I've been playing this game for 3 days, thinking that I need to get to a certain point into the campaign to unlock pvp. I guess not, how do I pvp?

    Pvp battles are usually setup as a tournament and there's a window you click on in the main screen to enter the tournament. After the last tournament ended another one hasn't been posted yet though. So, there's no for sure answer on when the next one will be yet. Hopefully soon!
