Region 8 - Can not upgrade weapon

Can anyone tell me why I can not upgrade my assault rifle in region 8? It does not even give me the $ amount required. Is there any way to work around it? I have tried to complete the challenge without success.

Same here...on a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate...on any browser.....

I am also playing Dino Hunter on a PC and cannot upgrade my Region 8 Assault Rifle. I also do not have any more boss battles for the Assault Rifle. The total maps collected also seems off for Region 8, and I killed 3 bosses in the Rifle quest.
