ios, iPad Air 2, game quits to homescreen soon after launch

Hello,

Soon after I launch the game, at the loading screen, the game suddenly quits to the homescreen. I've experienced this crash before and remedied it by deleting the game and reinstalling. That was a big mistake as I lost my progress and over $200 in gold purchases. I don't want to lose my progress or current purchases this time around. I am on a iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.3. I already quit all running apps, performed numerous hard-resets to the devise and made sure my Wifi connection is strong with a ton of bandwidth.
