Hey all,
I just picked up Gardner in a draft and the game automatically placed him in LF to replace Crawford. I'm not sure if I should leave him in or put Crawford back. Here's the info:
Gardner (6 - 5 - 8)
Through only 12 games:
.244 BA
45 AB/HR
1.3 steals per game
Crawford (7 - 3 - 9)
3386 games:
.281 BA
94.3 AB/HR
1.46 steals per game
I know it's a small sample size for Gardner, but it looks like he has a little more pop in his bat. But it is only 1 home run in 45 AB's I'm going by when I say that.
So what do u think? Who would u use in your line up?

Also most pitcher you face are RHP, Crawford has the lefty hitter bonus.
whoa. coulda sworn he was a righty lol... i'd still go Crawford 9 times out of 10 i think. just seems like he has more upside to him. though i guess i should say if you're lacking in the power department then Gardner would be a bit better. but for me it's kinda like if Player A is better in the speed and hit categories, unless Player B's power is an 8 or 9, then i'd choose Player A (ie Crawford over Gardner). 5 power is just too average for me. but tbh, i don't think this is one of those decisions that'll make a huge difference. luck is always a factor in this game. both will be good pinch hitters/runners if you need them. just pick one and be done with it.
But still standing firm on Crawford. Keep Gardner as a pinch runner. Excellent advice
