How to get better SP's?

My hitting lineup is really good right now, but I'm having trouble getting good starting pitchers.
I've been spamming the compete League and trying to draft but still to no avail.

Have you checked the 3 player packs for potential upgrades?

Are you looking for 5* or 4.5*? If you're okay with the latter then the 5 #1 Pack is pretty good. Of course that's if you have 1,500 gold.
