What's better a 8 hit righty or a 7 hit lefty given the speed and power are equal ?

Most would say go with the 8, and you can just change your strategy to put righties vs. LHP and vice versa. Power should be considered as well, but I'm gonna guess they're relatively equal as well.

I'd go with the 8 as well. Lefties are better than righties if you look at the splits and understand you face a lot more righties. However, I don't know that it's worth a whole extra point. Also, it seems to me like as you get higher, the difference of one point seems more. For example, the difference between 6 hitting and 5 hitting seems to be slightly less than the difference between 8 and 7. I'd go with the 8 hitting righty.
