One Time Offers

Is there some trick to getting the one-time gold offers to pop up other than buying one?

Each time I've spent any real money on this game I am immediately bombarded by one-time offers making me feel like I was dumb to buy gold for the regular price.

But after about an hour these go away and almost never show up again. I was going to buy some gold to get the 10k gold reward last weekend but didn't want to waste an extra $40 when the deals give it to you the mountain for $60 instead of $100.

Would be nice if there were some way of telling Glu you want to buy more gold other than actually buying more gold. By the time I buy some I'm not going to buy a second time. Annoying.
