Are our bats nerfed when we get a 3-0 or 3-1 count?

Am I the only one who swings at a perfect fastball down the middle of the plate, only to watch the ball slowly roll back to the pitcher like I swung a Wiffleball bat at a wet rag?

Side note: I'm aware of the unwritten rule about swinging on 3-0. I don't think it should apply in a game where I can be 99% sure the next two pitches are a fastball down the middle.

Just tried it in three separate games. They definitely nerf the bats.

They make it a point to tell us multiple times to only swing at strikes, so when we do exactly that and get ahead in the count, they rob our advantage 😂😂😂. It's like a blackjack table that removes all face cards so the dealer is guaranteed not to bust.

I've banged out a ton of singles. I dont think i've hit anything more then that on a 3-0.
