    My case took about a week, and all I did was open a dispute via the software in iTunes. I would suggest using the chat function.

    Go to the "help and feedback" tab....then the "request callback" tab on the play store. Explain the situation and be prepared to provide them the link to this forum. They'll kick you your money back

    I received a refund for everything I asked for...85% of what I spent.

    I began by going to Itunes and clicking "Report a Problem" for each charge. I typed a message about the rampant cheating and the server problems at Glu. Also included a link to a thread here where the problems are all documented. I pasted this into the dispute window that appeared for each charge. After doing this, I received an email that said I would hear back in 48 hours.

    I didn't hear back in 48 hours so went online and started a chat session. He asked for a screenshot of the message when I reached out to Glu customer service in the App to fix the situation. Conveniently, Glu's response was just boilerplate and showed their inaction.

    Chatter said he wasn't authorized to give the refund (exceeded his limit). However, he passed it on to a "Senior Advisor" and said I would hear back from them. Within 30 minutes I received an email from the senior advisor saying they were investigating the issue.

    36 hours later (this morning) received an email from the Senior Advisor that said my refund would be received in full within 10 days.

    Anyone who is upset by the way Glu has handled this....REQUEST A REFUND! You're crazy if you don't.

    As for me, I feel good about continuing to play the game. If you're in a place where you are upset and want a refund, you probably know how to play the game by now. As someone on a club once told me..."Play the game instead of letting the game play you". Sadly, because we didn't know better, many of us "let the game play us".

    can somebody please tell me what I'm missing? i contacted apple thru the online chat and she said she couldnt do anything for me because she said iTunes store is just the middle man and i even made her get her boss and she told me that they couldn't give me a single penny that it would have to be from glu...like they'd ever do it cant even find a direct # for glu

    WHAT AM I DOING THAT THEY "SAY" NO TO ME

    I am not sure what you are doing wrong.

    I would just try doing another live chat and see if you get someone better.

    I know this is iTunes thread, but for those honest android users out there, I will be posting a link from Google about how to start the process of being refunded. I am just waiting for the operator to get back to me.

    Just a heads up...I just got an email from Google stating they are no longer processing refunds for anyone who pays online for glu games because rewards are earned not paid for according to them

    Just received an email from Apple support saying I'll be refunded partially for the purchases I've made in the game. Glad to be getting something back.

    I responded to the very nice and helpful Apple customer service rep that helped me get my initial refund, which was only for purchases around the days of the reward and connectivity debacle. I referenced places where she could get information about the history of glitches, cheating, non responsive customer service, etc. I explained as well as I could about these things in my own words as well, stating that I felt that what was happening was fraud.

    I asked for a refund of all my purchases in the GLU app. I've only been playing for about two months. We'll see how this goes.

    My refund hit my bank account this morning, after roughly 5 days of waiting, after speaking with Apple customer service. All of you guys who have tried to get a refund from Apple/Google and have not been successful-- TRY AGAIN!!! I must've gotten lucky with the rep I spoke with initially, as he had no problem at all refunding every single one of my purchases through the app in the previous 60 day timeframe.

    These customer service reps have a pretty wide latitude to issue refunds to customers on the spot, so if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Make sure you have links, screenshots, anything and everything you can think of that may strengthen your case in the eyes of the reps. If you've spent a substantial sum of money on this broken, fraud of a game, like I did, then it's worth a little extra effort to try to get as much of that money of yours refunded as possible. If I can help anyone out somehow with the process, just let me know.

    Refunded $1750 of my $1950 spent. Some back to itunes gift cards but much of it back to bank account.

    They apparently opened up an investigation today because there were 250 cases filed alone today. Great job for opening up this thread.

    If you are not doing the chat function, I would advise that you separate out requests for 1. duplicate charges and 2. rampant cheating, unresponsive customer service, and not obtaining all rewards

    This is very encouraging to see. I've been disgusted with Glu's lack of response to my concerns, the missing rewards that I doubt I'll ever receive, and the apparent cheating that has occurred without me realizing it. I'm an Android user rather than an iPhone user. If someone has some specific detail about how the exact steps they followed to receive a full refund of all purchases from Google, please post it in this thread. I'm sure there are plenty of other Android users like myself that haven't cheated anyone, and have been a victim along with everyone else.

    Has anyone received a refund from Google? I was on the phone with them for about an hour today and they said they would get back to me within two days and a refund specialist will email me. Spent roughly $1000.00 on the game and its no fun since I cant even compete with all these legend glitch/cheat teams.

    I just got my second no from Google. Tried last week also and they told me today it is not in their refund policy. ***. Just because I have android doesn't mean I was cheating. Unfairly

    Bummer the person I spoke sounded like he was working on it and the refund was about to take place. Then all the sudden he said he sent me an email that the matter was going to be taken up with a refund specialist. If that doesn't work I may try a paypal dispute.
