I feel this homerun derby is a joke can't get past level 3 my sluggers are way better then the computers very annoyed with it.

There's a sweet spot on homeruns. If you're hitting 389 yard chip shots, you're not going to win. To get past Level 6, you are almost required to use boosts.

You have to spend around 2000 in gold to win even if you have a stacked line up. Its just another ploy for glu to make us spend gold.

I enjoy the derby event but I'd never spend gold on it. I use bronze draft picks and I have a decent group of sluggers. I just beat tier 3 for the first time yesterday without spending any gold.
